TOEFL PREPARATION COURSE The Test of English as a Foreign Language or TOEFL is an English proficiency test required by many universities where English is the language of instruction. At TLP we prepare students for the new internet-based TOEFL test. Our small classes with a maximum of 8 students provide excellence in preparing students to write the TOEFL exam, and our graduates consistently outscore students from other schools. The TOEFL exam tests many aspects of English, such as Reading, Writing, Listening,Grammar and Speaking. What's included in the preparation: > Diagnostic Pre-Tests for each section of the iBT TOEFL test. These measure students' level of performance and allow students to determine specific areas of weakness. > Test-Taking Strategies provide students with clearly defined steps to maximize their performance on the test.· Exercises provide practice of all the skills in a TOEFL-format. > TOEFL Post-Tests for each section of the test measure the progress that students have made after working through the skills and strategies in the test. > Mini-tests allow students to simulate the experience of taking actual tests using shorter versions (approximately 1.5 hours each) of the test. > Complete tests allow students to simulate the experience of taking actual tests using full-length versions (approximately 3.5 hours each) of the test. > Scoring information allows students to determine their approximate TOEFL scores on the Pre-Tests, Post-Tests, Mini-Tests and Complete Tests. > CD-ROMs have Skills practice for each of the sections (Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing), Mini Tests,Complete Tests with answers and explanations, as well as Skill Reports and Results Reports. EVENING PRIVATE COURSES Course Duration   Minimum of 4 weeks, no maximum course length Lessons per day   2 private lessons per day / 2 days per week (4 lessons per week) Classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday night, from 6:30 - 8:30 Start Dates   Any Monday Minimum Age   18 years of age.
