Toronto Languages PLUS combines a unique & charming heritage building with a large beautiful private garden, a funky 'boutique' ambience and a professional approach to teaching English.
All of the staff at Toronto Languages Plus believe that when learning a language, the overall experience and location are as important as the course curriculum.
Located downtown and only a short walk from the majority of Toronto's many attractions, Toronto Languages PLUS occupies a building built in the 1870s - just a few short years after Canada became an independent nation. Once home to a girls' school many decades ago, it has come full circle to once again offer educational opportunity - this time for both genders! The school is situated downtown, in a historic part of the city known affectionately as 'Cabbagetown.'

Our school has been modernized both inside and out, featuring bright, cool colours with lots of art work, a grand central staircase, modern classrooms with high ceilings, a beautiful private garden and full facilities for study and recreation.

11 bright classrooms - maximum 12 students per class
Large, open reception area with CD
Student lounge area with Cable TV/DVD, couches and chairs
Small school library ( public library less than 2 minutes walk)
Private and spacious outdoor terrace area with patio furniture and barbeque
Free high speed internet access in our new computer lab
Student kitchen with 2 microwave ovens, full-size fridge, coffee maker, water cooler.

Our large and private school garden is a popular hangout for students between and after class has finished for the day. We hold many social activities in the afternoons in the garden including BBQ evenings! On summer afternoons sometimes we hold classes outside if students are in an agreement.

Our students come from around the world and we have a good mix of nationalities, some students are just taking a learning holiday and looking to improve their English skills whilst enjoying the company of other international students, of the same age.
Others come to study English for educational or business related reasons and are looking to_ prepare for language examinations or even study to become a language teacher. Whatever the reason, our students enjoy a truly international community at our school in Toronto.
